Reunion 2007 Coverage April 18, 2007 - Book Signing The 2007 reunion was held at the Doubletree hotel near the intersection of McCullogh and Loop 410 in San Antonio, TX. The seven Doolittle Raiders attending the reunion were being very gracious in signing books for people. Below are some photos from the event.
David Thatcher, from Ted Lawson's crew of 30 Seconds Over Tokyo fame is a cheerful fellow without a doubt.
The Doolittle family was gracious as always. They have a new book out that was a very good read.
Signing books is somewhat of a tedious thing for these men, and if you have a book signed by them, you should really treasure it.
Col. Cole, Doolittle's copilot, was enjoying the coversation I think.
The lines were not terribly long, which made the event much more enjoyable.
